Procedures and Registration

The requirements for earning the Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA) credential include passing three  exams, completing a project, and completing an ethics course, as described below.

Exam offered starting mid-October 2017
3. Predictive Modeling – Methods and Techniques Updated syllabus with recommended study materials available mid-July 2017
Exam offered fourth quarter 2017/first quarter 2018
4. Case Study Project: P&C Predictive Modeling Application Project assignments available starting mid-October 2017
5. Online Course on Ethics and Professionalism Now available on-demand through The Institutes

Registration for the first course, iCAS PC1 Property-Casualty Insurance Fundamentals, and the Online Course on Ethics and Professionalism, is now available. Administered by The Institutes, the first course must be completed online; the exam may be taken at any Prometrics Testing Center. Supplemental study materials are also available for purchase. The Online Course on Ethics and Professionalism must be completed prior to taking the Predictive Modeling – Methods and Techniques Exam.
