The Research Council of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) is looking to investigate and benchmark how the Canadian P&C insurance industry is utilizing predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI, and examine potential areas for enhancement. To that end the CIA has issued a new request for proposals (RFP) and is inviting members of The CAS Institute and other interested parties to respond. The RFP contains the details on the research objectives, selection process, and timelines.

Your intent to submit a proposal should be emailed by July 3, 2020; proposals must be received no later than August 1, 2020. It is anticipated that all proposers will be informed of the status of their proposal by September 15, 2020.
