The CAS Institute (iCAS) exhibited at the recent ASA Conference on Statistical Practice (CSP) in New Orleans, LA. This annual conference brings together hundreds of statistical practitioners and data scientists—including data analysts, researchers, and scientists—who engage in the application of statistics to solve real-world problems on a daily basis. iCAS Director Amy Brener interacted with attendees in the exhibit hall, answering questions and sharing information about the Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA) credential.
iCAS member Louise Francis, FCAS, CSPA, MAAA, Francis Analytics and Actuarial Data Mining, Inc., also presented at the conference in a session entitled “Actuarial-Data Science Collaboration: Key Methods and Applications.” For additional information about the event, visit the ASA website.
