et recently with the Institutes of Actuaries in Japan (IAJ) to discuss The CAS Institute and the Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA) credential. The meeting was arranged by Mr. Ikuo Kudoh, General Secretary of the IAJ. Over a dozen IAJ members attended along with the current President of the International Actuarial Association, Mr. Masaaki Yoshimura. Brian and Bob presented on the reasons the CAS created iCAS and the CSPA, the material covered in the credential, and the demand for the credential both 
internationally and closer to home. The audience mentioned that there is a growing demand for employees with Predictive Analytics skills in Japan, and the IAJ complimented the CAS for its work in this area. More communication is expected to continue between the two organizations.
