Prometric Test Center Closings

March 19, 2020

To comply with the most recent federal guidelines in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to further protect the health and well-being of both individual test takers and staff, Prometric, which administers several of The CAS Institute exams, closed its test centers in the United States and Canada for a period of 30 days, beginning March 17. They anticipate re-opening their test centers effective April 16, but they caution that the specific date will be dependent on circumstances that are changing daily.

This initial closing will have minimal impact on those enrolled in iCAS exams since no iCAS exams are scheduled to be offered from March 16-April 14.  Those planning to sit for an examination at a Prometric Center beginning in mid-April should monitor Prometric’s public website, www.prometric.com/corona-virus-update.  Both The Institutes and The CAS Institute will pass along any updated information as it becomes available.
