In February 2016, The CAS Institute announced the formation of a panel of leading practitioners in predictive analytics and data science to define the curriculum and requirements for the organization’s inaugural credentialing program.
This panel of predictive analytics and data science subject matter experts has been working to develop the specific program characteristics for the new credential, including establishing learning objectives, creating the curriculum, setting the competency levels, directing development of educational materials, and establishing eligibility requirements. They will also be working to overseeing high-quality examination and scoring.
